Comparisons
How commissioning a human writer differs from running a prompt — including where the tools genuinely win.
A comparison page written by the party with something to sell is worth roughly nothing unless it admits what the other side is good at. So each of these opens with that: the specific jobs where a language model is genuinely the better tool, and where paying a writer would be a waste of your money.
The distinction that actually matters is not quality in the abstract. It is accountability and provenance. A model cannot be asked why it made a claim, cannot be corrected in a way that sticks, and cannot tell you which part of its answer it is unsure about. For anything published under your name, those turn out to be the important properties.
Several pages here compare Articled with detection tools rather than writing tools. Those are category errors, and we say so plainly — a detector is not a competitor, it is part of our process.
