Hiring managers and clients don’t scroll through your portfolio out of admiration. They do so looking for examples of your ability to think of solutions in the context of given limitations, and that evidence is embedded in the descriptions accompanying the work rather than in the work itself.
Therefore, that is what we write. We write what the client needed, what got in the way, what you decided, and what happened after. These four things, in any length the format allows.
Usually, the most interesting story in a project is the constraint. This could be anything from a halved budget to an imposed launch date or even a stakeholder who would sign nothing off. The completed project will not convey this context, which is why the descriptions in a portfolio should come from a conversation with the person who lived through the process.
Generated project copy describes the artifact as clean, modern, intuitive, and user-centered. It is not able to describe what the budget was, why the original concept was dropped, or what the client said during the week three check-in, because all of that exists in your head.
We choose the projects first. Most portfolios contain three or four pieces too many, and removing them raises the average faster than any rewrite. Then the writer submits the remaining pieces to the same short interview and drafts the case notes to one uniform format.
Two simple rules apply to every project write-up here. Nothing describes what the reader can see for themselves, and nothing claims a result you cannot prove. Client names and figures appear if, and only if, you have confirmed your permission to use them, and anonymized alternatives are used if you have not.
One rate, whatever the format: $10 per 100 words. You are paying for the writer’s time and judgement, so the price scales with the words rather than with a package tier.

Up to 3 days. The writer has to read around the subject before writing it, so we quote honestly rather than promising an hour. If your deadline is tighter, say so in the brief and we will tell you before you pay whether we can meet it.
Yes. It is usually acceptable to describe the sector, the scale and the problem without citing the company, and in the majority of cases it does not weaken the write-up. If you have the NDA specifications, please send them, and the writer will keep the draft within those bounds and mark anything that is close to the limit for you.
Fewer than most. A reader judges you by the weakest piece they see, so six strong pieces are better than fourteen mixed pieces. If you still don’t know which to leave out, send them all and the writer will provide a ranking before writing anything.
Completely. Copyright transfers to you on delivery, with no attribution requirement and no licence back to us. Nothing written for you is resold, repurposed or republished.
