Human-Written Attraction Descriptions. Zero AI.

Attraction copy preserves historical facts. Construction dates, founders, the reasoning behind certain design elements. If you get any of these facts incorrect on your own website, that is the type of error that gets screenshotted and circulated.

The second aspect of the role is more subtle. It is about helping the reader understand what ninety minutes of time truly feels like at the location instead of just enumerating what is included in the collection.

What Good No-AI Attraction Descriptions Should Deliver

Two things at once. Enough verified history to satisfy a curious adult and a school group’s teacher, and enough practical honesty that nobody arrives at four fifteen for a site that stops admitting visitors at four. The best pages also say who will not enjoy it, which earns more trust than another superlative.

Where AI falls down on attraction descriptions

If you ask a model to cite a landmark, it gives an answer with a precise year. The answer is often incorrect but derived from a similarly named building. Attractions are exactly where invented specifics survive editing, since no one from the marketing department is able to validate the claims.

How Articled Produces No-AI Attraction Descriptions

Each historical claim can be traced back to something that is nameable: your personal archive, a heritage register, a museum catalog. Where different accounts exist, the copy states this rather than choosing the most dramatic. All the practical information is taken from the current visitor information, which was checked when the draft was prepared. (Typo): the practical information is current at the time that the draft was prepared.

Review and Revisions for No-AI Attraction Descriptions

Most curators and heritage officers like to be among the first to work with the material, and they focus on leaving behind their thoughts as solutions to ambiguities as opposed to addressing errors. Currently, two rounds or passes of fourteen days are allocated for both curators and marketing personnel. This allows for at least one curatorial pass and one marketing pass.

What people commission attraction descriptions for

  • Webpages from museums, galleries, and heritage sites.
  • Listings on ticketing platforms and resale sites.
  • Descriptive copy on city pass and attraction bundle offerings.
  • Temporary exhibition pages for a single season.

Yes. Here’s what is documented, attributing our interpretations, rather than making them ourselves. Take an editorial stance on this. Copy that references colonial history or sites of conflict, and remains, is written for review by your curatorial team before we publish it.

We rely on the information provided by your access team. We keep it concise by including step counts, gradients, hearing loop coverage, and whether a step-free route is available. We will not exaggerate the information we present to you. Vague accessibility text is worse than none because visitors plan their visits accordingly.

One guide had outdated opening hours

Four city guides, three of them perfect. The fourth said a museum had updated its winter hours last year. This was fixed within a day after I reported it. The others were unchecked, but they went ahead and double checked them. I do recommend this guide, but check the time sensitive items for yourself.

First version could’ve been any guesthouse

It was a good draft, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to take credit. We did, however, send back four photos and explained the pier to them all. The second draft also included information about the pier, room three’s low ceilings, and our no breakfast before eight policy. This one is officially on the site.

Won a tender we usually lose

Public-sector tender, forty pages, scored on the method statement. The writer read the scoring matrix and tailored the answer in that order rather than telling our story. We scored highest on quality for the first time. I don’t know if it’s repeatable but I’ll definitely be applying again for the next tender.
