Your Drip Campaigns, Written Without AI

The only writing you commission that doesn’t require proofreading more than once is a drip campaign. These write-ups are typically unmanaged, which means there are a lot of errors that come with the passage of time. Over time, prices may have changed. Features may have been renamed. Mentions of months may be irrelevant. For instance, a drip campaign was sent out in July to promote a holiday sale.

We created drips to age well. Information on costs and overly direct links are placed on the landing page to set user expectations around maintenance. Any time something requires reassessment, we present that information in bullet point lists so you know it’s coming.

What Makes No-AI Drip Campaigns Worth Opening?

Drips must survive being “read out of season.” Drips go out on the 400th day after you wrote it to someone who joined the last week. Any reference to a current campaign, price, or holiday has already become incorrect. Emails that stay worth opening are ones that have no timestamp buried in them.

  • No dates, prices or campaign references that expire.
  • Each email readable by someone who missed the last.
  • Subject lines that work in any month of the year.

Where AI falls down on drip campaigns

Generated drips tend to fail slowly, which is the expensive way to fail. They reference a pricing page you retired, a feature name you changed, and a season that has passed, and nobody notices because nobody reads their own automation. The complaint comes from the customer, instead.

Subject, Message and CTA Writing for No-AI Drip Campaigns

Each line gets a durability check: will this sentence still be valid a year from now? Prices get added to the landing page. Call to action buttons hyperlink to shortened URLs that you keep permanently. We avoid using seasonal hooks in subject lines, and where a campaign requires it, we note that section as a line to review each quarter.

How a drip campaign gets written here

  1. List the emails, their triggers, and the delay between each one.
  2. Write every email to stand alone if the previous send was missed.
  3. Strip dates, prices and campaign names into a separate review list.
  4. Flag the lines that will need checking when the product changes.

Keeping No-AI Drip Campaigns Consistent With Your Brand

Automations are where old voices hide. Companies rebrand, repurpose, and move things around, while continuing to use the old terminology for each step with every new customer. Rather than a new voice, each new copy includes a thesaurus and the sentences most likely to age are marked. Brief annual reviews are all that is required.

  • Every email with its trigger and delay documented.
  • A review list of lines that will need updating over time.
  • Subject and preheader pairs written to work year round.
  • Copy kept free of dates and prices that go stale.
  • One voice sheet covering terms, tone and banned words.

What people commission drip campaigns for

  • Evergreen sequences that run without supervision.
  • Post-purchase education for a physical product.
  • Course or membership delivery over several weeks.
  • Replacing an automation nobody has read since launch.

What drip campaigns cost

One rate, whatever the format: $10 per 100 words. You are paying for the writer’s time and judgement, so the price scales with the words rather than with a package tier.

Standard drip of ten emails1,700$170$1.70$171.70

No-AI Drip Campaigns FAQs

Every format is priced identically: $10 per 100 words plus a 1% platform fee. A 1,700-word drip campaign comes to $171.70. There is no research surcharge, no rush tier and no minimum retainer.

Up to 3 days. The writer has to read around the subject before writing it, so we quote honestly rather than promising an hour. If your deadline is tighter, say so in the brief and we will tell you before you pay whether we can meet it.

Yes. Email us the existing emails and we will provide a summary of the stale text, information that conflicts with what we sent, and what you can remove. You will only need to request a rewrite for the ones that we kept. Paying per word means there will never be an audit that will require us to rewrite everything.

The delivery provides a list of line items most likely to need updates due to aging. Examples include product names, integrations, page URLs, and pricing. Be sure to place a reminder on your calendar to check this list at least twice per year. The majority of drips need a handful of edits, not a complete rebuild.

Completely. Copyright transfers to you on delivery, with no attribution requirement and no licence back to us. Nothing written for you is resold, repurposed or republished.

What clients say about our drip campaigns

Reviews from completed, paid orders in this category.

Five emails with one job each

The old sequence tried to cover everything in the first email. This version pushes the integrations message to day four, which is when people are more prepared for it. There has been a noticeable increase in activation for day seven and a decrease in week one support tickets.

Email four needed a rewrite

Five emails, four landed first time. The fourth leaned on urgency in a way our brand does not, and I said so. It was rewritten within a day and is now the best performer in the set. I’m most likely working with too general of a brief on tone.

Kept the quirks we enjoy

Our newsletter uses humor to describe the office kettle. I had mentioned it in the brief, and it’s there used in the right way, in the right register. Subscribers interacted with that newsletter more than any other we published this year.
